Music’s golden age, the 20s and 30s, is celebrated when The New Foxtrot Serenaders take centre stage to play a concert at The East Sussex National, Uckfield at 3.00pm on Saturday 4th October.
The seven piece dance band, popular for their tours, many radio appearances and cruise appearances on the QE2 and QM2, have been recreating the music from the first half of the 20th century since 1997, with their varied repertoire including Charlestons, Ragtime, Trad Jazz and famous radio signature tunes.
The icing on the cake this time is that they are joined by the mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ, the largest on in Europe, played by internationally acclaimed theatre organist Michael Wooldridge, himself a Radio 2 regular on The Organist Entertains and also featured last year on the Steve Wright Show.
Admission to this very special afternoon of music is just £9 each.
